CREATING A “PEER NETWORK” USING AS DISCUSSION FORM
Ø WHATSAPP ‘ COMMON GROUP-:
WhatsApp is a free to
download messenger app for smartphones. WhatsApp uses the internet to send
messages, images, audio or video. The service is very similar to text messaging
services however, because WhatsApp uses the internet to send messages, the cost
of using WhatsApp is significantly less than texting. It is popular with
teenagers because of features like group chatting, voice messages and location
sharing.
Features of
WhatsApp
Users of WhatsApp can share their location in real
time over messages. They can also organise lists of contacts so that they can quickly
send messages to lots of people in group chats through WhatsApp. Probably the
best feature of WhatsApp is that it allows users to keep in touch with people
living abroad, without incurring the international charges associated with text
messages.
DISCUSSION TOPIC
1. VOCATIONALISATION
2. SOCIAL
NETWORK
3. CCE
4. NON
DETENTION POLICY
5. RESPECT
FOR TEACHER
Vocationalisation
Vocational
education (Vocationalisation) means training in some vacation at the higher
secondary level along with general education. Indian Education Commission
observed, "We visualize the future trend of school education to be towards
a fruitful mingling of general and vocational education-general education
containing some elements of the pre-vocational and technical education, and
vocational education, in turn, having an element of general education... ''
“Every
handicraft has to be taught not merely mechanically as is done today, but
scientifically. This is to say, the child should learn the why and wherefore of
every process.” - Gandhi’s Philosophy of Education
SOCIAL
NETWORK
A social networking
service (also social networking site, SNS or social
media) is an online platform that is used by people to build social networks or social relations with other people who share similar personal
or career interests, activities, backgrounds or real-life connections.
Continuous and Comprehensive
Evaluation (CCE)
Its refers to a system of school
based evaluation of the learner that covers all aspects of the learner
development. This development profile of the learner is facilitated through
continuous assessment of one’s learning content, the responses, the nature and
success of its applications and the behavioural outcomes and further by the
measurement of the holistic development through comprehensive tools of assessment.
'No Detention Policy'
·
The 'No Detention Policy' is a Govt. of
India's initiative according to which no student
can be detained in one standard for more than one academic year. It was being talked of
implementing it up to class XI th but is valid till class VIII th only.
Under this policy, the students up to class VIII are
automatically promoted to the next class without being held back even if they
do not get a passing grade. The policy was implemented as part of the
Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) under the RTE Act in 2010 to
ensure all-round development of students. The concept of CCE imported from the
West, which emphasis on evaluating a child through the year, and not just based
on performance in one or two term exams.
RESPECT FOR TEACHER
Teachers are agents
of change. They counsel their students and help them to choose their careers
that best suit their interest.
Teachers can make a good difference among
successful students & unsuccessful one; among those who loves to read 8&
write & one who doesn’t.
A good teacher can convert a dull student into a
brilliant one. Its teachers who are given credit by the parents when their
children passes exam with distinction marks. In spite of such a meaningful role
of teachers, some students insult them, curse them, throw tantrums or even
attack them when they punishes them for wrong doings.
CONCLUSION
That
was actually a good ideas that the government of education in India were able
to find out and promote because from this vocational education being
implemented at their place, many people will be having great benefits from it and
it leads them to find some easy jobs that fits on their vocational course. And Now day’s students fail to
understand the importance of a teacher. Teachers are like parents and must be
given the same respect as we give to our parents. Instead students give them
all kinds of names to humiliate them. Teachers are not given the respect that
they deserve in our society. A teacher is solely responsible if a child and
scores good percentage in school.
